Matthew Williamson

Matt originally hails from the green rolling hills of Northern Ireland. After his family moved to Australia, Matt developed a love for all things sport related, especially basketball and weightlifting. The warmer weather was a welcome benefit. Matt completed a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science and is a qualified Doctor of Physiotherapy. Physiotherapy evolved as a natural progression for Matt to satisfy both being involved in sports and biomechanics, with the added bonus of being able to help people achieve their goals. Over the years Matt’s Physiotherapy knowledge was shared at Hakoah Premier League Football Club, Sydney Grammar Basketball and was Head of S&C for Scots College Firsts Basketball. Matt strives to get clients back to their goals as safely and effectively as possible through tailoring treatment strategies to the individual, in a shared alliance between client and practitioner. Using a variety of manual therapy techniques including soft tissue mobilisation, Matt seeks to empower people to strive for their absolute best, for optimal quality of life or sporting performance and to end up walking out of the clinic the best they can be.
