Dr. Kesserwani is a qualified Chiropractor, a member of the Chiropractic Association of Australia & is a Workcover approved Chiropractor. Dr. Kesserwani completed a Bachelor of Medical Science majoring in Human Anatomy & Physiology at University of NSW and a Masters in Clinical Chiropractic at Macquarie University. Dr. Kesserwani specialises in a number of gentle, safe and effective techniques ranging from soft tissue therapy (massage), dry needling, cupping to spinal manipulation and mobilization. He places a large focus on helping each client understand the cause of their injury and on active care to help achieve long term relief and to prevent reoccurrence. Dr. Kesserwani also specialises in rehabilitation therapy and musculoskeletal injuries. Dr Kesserwani has a strong interest in elite sports, and has been trusted with the care of athletes from different sporting leagues at a professional level (NRL, AFL, cricket, triathlon & cycling). He understands the impact Chiropractic has in restoring premium health and in improving peak performance. Dr Angelo CampanellaChiropractor
Dr Angelo Campanella graduated from Macquarie University with a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science and Masters of Chiropractic. Angelo always knew that he had an admiration for the human body and enthusiasm to help people. However, his interest in Chiropractic surfaced after meeting a mentor in Fiji who saw potential and offered Angelo work in Melbourne one month after completing his HSC. Since then, Angelo has been heavily involved in a number of NRL and soccer teams over the years and has helped plenty of athletes involved in Crossfit, Dancing, Swimming, Cycling, Mixed Martial Arts, Triathlons, Powerlifting and Bodybuilding. Angelo has a passion for strength and weight training as well as mixed martial arts. It is through this passion that Angelo has come to understand the benefits of an active lifestyle and continually educates his patients on its significance for everyday life. With an avid interest in human biomechanics, anatomy and functionality, Angelo not only treats the pain but aims to find the cause and educates his patients along the way. Angelo specialises in the treatment of acute and chronic patients and has a strong interest in treating sports related shoulder, neck and lower back injuries. In addition, Angelo has had many years of experience in massage and rehab/gym program prescriptions. He has had the opportunity over the years to work closely with Neurosurgeons, Orthopaedic surgeons, Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists and Podiatrists to ensure the patient's primary care takes priority. In 2016, Angelo had the privilege of working with Life West Chiropractic in Mumbai, India as part of a volunteering program that provided treatment to over 8000 individuals that ranged from the homeless to Doctors. This was an experience that cemented Angelo’s passion for helping others, and widened his understanding of the possible reach and scope that chiropractic can offer. Angelo currently works at Medisport Clinic’s Concord, Nepean and Wollongong where he utilizes a range of techniques including: Chiropractic adjustments and mobilisations, musculoskeletal dry needling, myofascial release therapy kinesio taping (rocktape), rigid tapping, soft and deep tissue massage, cupping and rehabilitation exercises.
Dr Julian PollicinaChiropractor
Dr. Julian Pollicina is a qualified chiropractor, a member of the Chiropractic Australian Association and is Workcover approved. Dr Pollicina has completed both his Bachelor of Chiropractic Science and Masters of Chiropractic degrees at Macquarie University. Coming from a sporting background of football, swimming and cricket, Dr Pollicina has taken a clinical interest in the management of sporting injuries. Dr Pollicina’s other interests include diagnosis, prevention and treatment of headaches and low back pain. Dr Pollicina uses a range of techniques including chiropractic mobilisations and adjustments, massage therapy, dry needling, rehabilitation exercises and taping techniques to provide the most effective outcome. This combination of tools along with the most recent medical research allows his treatments to be thorough and effective when restoring mobility, increasing strength and reducing pain.
Matt HaywardMassage Therapist
Matt Hayward is currently studying a Masters of Chiropractic at Macquarie University after completing his Bachelor of Chiropractic Science in 2016. Matt has worked at Medisport Clinic for the past two years and is currently the principal Sports Trainer for the first grade Inter-Lions soccer team. Matt offers patients remedial and deep tissue massage, along with trigger point therapy, cupping, strapping, rehabilitation exercises and stretching to help patients heal and prevent further injury.
Steven SaabSports Podiatrist
Steven works in all areas of podiatry but has a special interest in lower limb biomechanics. He is particularly passionate about sports injuries therapy, paediatric (children’s) podiatry and footwear technologies. Steven graduated from the University of Western Sydney and since then has spent time at various hospitals and in multidisciplinary practices where he places an emphasis on a team approach to patient care. This has also given him extra insight on the mechanics of the body enabling him to better understand (even when misdiagnosed by others) how a problem in the lower limb may influence the whole body (upper and lower limbs). This enables Steven to customise a treatment regime including: biomechanical causes of back, hip, knee, leg, ankle and foot pain, prescription of corrective foot orthotics, tailored advice on appropriate stretching and strengthening training programs as well as individual specific requirement in running shoes/football boots and other sporting footwear, and treatment of foot and ankle disorders, including skin and nail conditions. Foot/ankle strapping, cupping, dry needling/acupuncture, foot and leg mobilisation/manipulation, deep tissue massage/myofascial techniques are some of the treatments that he specialises in to help relieve his patients.
